    Introduction

This was my first step into mixing music and CD production. The mixing I did is not very traditional for I didn't own turntables or a a mixer so i've used Cakewalk to make my preconstructed mixes. I started my mixing with Cakewalk 5.0. The GBSmix was done in this environment. To my great fortune I got a major upgrade to Cakewalk 8.0. All the other mixes destined to go on this CD were made with Cakewalk 8.0.

    What I Do (In General)

If you've heard my sound then you know it to be the sound of a man with out a origional musical bone in his body. It has the taste of complete digital manipulation. With the exception of some lame unprofessional skratching I did, the whole CD is other music mixed. Mixed in a fashion not based on turntable and keeping the beat going but in a wav editor evnironment. So what I did was find loops and other samples with Cooledit96 and save those on my hard disk. Then I would open up Cakewalk and insert the files. Once there I would mix, arrange, fade and effect the sounds until I got what I wanted. I played around. The CD is in chronological order so you can see how i may have improved in my year of mixing.
