worxing

Over the last about year I've crafted almost 5 sets. I'm still working on the 4th. Below there are full descriptions of the sets as well as reference to my DP for more information. I created most of these set working with what I presently have which you can learn more about in the Machinery secton.

The 3rd Set

This set is still in infancy but the idea is to go from a house feel through relaxed to and intense hardcore feel at the end. This is unlike my usual patern because normally I get all happyhardcorish at the end of the set. Who know what the future hold for this worx.

Set P

I skillfully put this set together by taking the best parts of The Frist Time Around and Set^2. This set had only been performed at Sweet Escape (see my my experience) and I have no really intension to make a recording of it. If I perform it live again I just might but I have no idea when that would be. This set also used features of my new acquired Sound Blaster Live! Platnum 5.1, which enable to use use a computer text read (go cheep computer voice) and KeySample at the same time with my dual winamps which was a plus and no doubt this new ability will shape my future sets.

Set^2

This was the set I created to really start promoting myself. It turn out alright but I new I could do better. I recyclses some ideas from the failed set II but introduces alot more of it own concepts. For more information on this set and the CD made from it check out the entry in my dp.

Set II Phat Machine

I created this set at the University of Waterloo while I was in resdence for my first term. I decided to make after going to a rave in toronto. The party aside I wanted to make something I could promote myself with, as well as keeping me mixing while I was studying. I had some trouble recording it, and the version I got did turn out two well, but alot of the idea were cool. Only one CD version exist in the world. Since we are in the age of CD-R it probably won't that collectable, but I hope it mean something to the person that has it.

The First Time Around

This set was recorded at Robin's House(tm) in August of the year 2000. It was the first set I preformed live, and basically just played and played not really caring what I was doing (and how badly I was doing it). In the end it seems to have turn out alright. If you want more information on the CD itself check out my dp entry.
